El PNV y EA incluyen al etarra 'Argala' en una ofrenda a víctimas
ARRIGORRIAGA (VIZCAYA).- El PP de Vizcaya y el PSE de Arrigorriaga rechazaron ayer que el Ayuntamiento de esa localidad, a instancias de PNV-EA, pretenda homenajear al histórico dirigente de ETA José Miguel Beñaran Ordeñana, Argala, asesinado en 1978 por el Batallón Vasco Español, dentro de una iniciativa en reconocimiento a las víctimas del terrorismo. Argala participó, entre otros, en el asesinato del presidente del Gobierno de Franco almirante Luis Carrero Blanco.
El equipo de gobierno de Arrigorriaga, formado por PNV-EA, ha presentado para su debate en el pleno del viernes una moción que pide organizar un homenaje conjunto a las víctimas por el terrorismo de este municipio, entre las que incluye, además de a Argala, a un policía y un taxista asesinados por ETA.
El acto consistiría en una ofrenda floral, seguida de un momento de reflexión, que se desarrollará en un frontón donde ETA acabó en 1986 con la vida del miembro de la Policía Nacional Manuel Fuentes Pedreira.
En declaraciones a Efe, Maite Barahona (PSE), calificó de «inoportuna e injustificada» la inclusión del dirigente de ETA en este homenaje y Nerea Llanos (PP) tachó la iniciativa de «una auténtica vergüenza y una aberración».
